Expert septic tank installation and porosity testing

BSA are experienced experts on septic tanks. We inspect and report on the condition of septic tanks, soakaways and drainage fields in the midlands area. We can advise on the cleaning and viability of repairs to your septic tank, as well as the cost and installation of a replacement. Additionally, BSA undertakes pre-purchase surveys for house buyers to ensure compliance with the Environment Agency General Binding Rules and Regulations.

Septic tanks work slightly differently to sewage treatment plants. A septic tank only partially treats sewage by using an anaerobic process and as a consequence it is illegal under General Binding Rules to discharge effluent from a septic tank into a water course or surface water. Effluent discharges from a septic tank can only legally discharge into a functioning soakaway/ sub-surface irrigation system. The porosity of the soil will determine whether a soakaway will work and therefore whether a septic tank is even a suitable long term solution. If you’re not sure if it is suitable for your home or premises, then contact us.

Expert septic tank installation

Septic tanks work slightly differently to sewage treatment plants. A septic tank only partially treats sewage by using an anaerobic process. Effluent from the tank can cause pollution so septic tank installations can only be done in certain areas. The porosity of the soil has an impact on whether septic tanks are allowed for your sewage treatment. If you’re not sure if it is suitable for your home or premises, then contact us.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nik and his team were helpful, quick and efficient. We asked three companies to quote, and BSA were the only one with transparent pricing and who communicated openly and clearly. The job was completed on time and as described, with minimal fuss and disruption. If the need arose again (hope it doesn't!), we wouldn't hesitate to call BSA. Five stars are rightly deserved.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were very luck to find Nick. We needed to install a new septic tank and drainage works when we just moved in. A one stop solution who was sensibly priced. I enjoyed the professional and hands on approach from Nick. He's done a lot of work across Warwickshire and West Midlands. A clear start and finish date and was set following a free survey. Peace of mind for sure. He will be back once a year to tidy up the ditches and check the septic tanks

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Once again an absolute delight to deal with Nik who came to do the service on my treatment plant. Nik is courteous, informative and smiled throughout the service, despite him being out in the freezing weather! Thanks again for everything. I would have absolutely no qualms in recommending BSA to anyone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. BSA Environmental provide a great service. They installed our water treatment tank in 2015 and it has worked faultlessly since. They remind us annually on the option of having it inspected and drained which is an easy non-fuss operation - you just leave them to get on with it. A really friendly and efficient business. Highly recommended.
